The Bridge Between Capitalism and Compassion

We exist to create a brand- & consumer-fuelled support system that allows dog shelters to focus on saving lives, not full-time fundraising.

Our Paws Foundation began with our deep love for dogs and our clear realisation of just how underfunded many shelters truly are. Incredible people are doing incredible work – rescuing, rehabilitating, and rehoming dogs who have been abused, abandoned, or left to fend for themselves. Unfortunately, most of these shelters are overwhelmed. They are overcrowded, under-resourced and simply cannot keep up with the number of cases in dire need of attention.

Give, Without the Extra Give

The OPF model gives people a meaningful way to contribute,
and receive, simultaneously!

We partner with great brands, sell their products on our platform, and send 50% of the profits directly to shelters and rescue cases in urgent need. We don’t ask you to give more – just to give differently. There are no inflated prices, you’re not paying more to do good. We’ve simply taken the act of shopping – something you’re already doing – and turned it into an engine for measurable impact.

Our Promise

Direct Dog Impact

Our Paws Foundation funds outcomes, not overhead. That means we pay directly for the services and items needed for the dogs.

We settle medical bills directly with the vet. We fund shelter upgrades by covering both materials and labour costs. When additional transport is needed, we arrange the vehicles. Whether it’s a bakkie, medical supplies, or blankets, every physical item or service is funded at the source, ensuring direct impact.

Every cent is accounted for and directed with purpose. We strictly steer clear of vague allocations or “general use” funding. All contributions are allocated intentionally, with internal checks to make sure funds are used exactly as promised: for the dogs.

The Shelters We Support

We’re picky. In a good way.

High-intake, under-resourced shelters (sheltering dogs faster than they can raise funds)

Rescues on the front line (tough medical, behavioural and abuse cases)

Shelters that promise transparency

Rescues that prioritise ethical practices

Those that are making a measurable difference
